Do you make the bed each day?

Some people make the bed soon as they get up, others later in the day. Some just don't see the point and some only make it if they know people are coming around. Where do you stand?

I make the bed in the morning

I make it during the day

I make it just before bedtime

What's the actual point of making it

I only make it if I'm bringing a lover home

Never. Why should I? Especially now when I spend most of almost every day in bed? My computer is right here so I tend to spend most of my time sitting here doing my various projects and dealing with e-mail and other messages. As the selection I chose says, what IS the point of making the bed? Nobody else is ever gonna see it except the girl I'm fucking (IF I EVER get another one!!) and, as soon as I/we go to bed, it's unmade again so, why bother? What purpose does it serve. If someone's coming over and I feel there's a need to impress them, okay, maybe I'll make the bed! However, chances are, as soon as I DO break down and make the damn bed, they're gonna decide never to even go up and risk seeing it, anyway! And, by doing so, what am I hiding, the bed sheets? I tend to wash them or put clean ones on every few days, or so, anyway!

I don't "make" the bed because there is nothing to tuck in. No "hospital corners".
I just pull the sheet up and flatten it out, then pull the cover all the way up. The sides hang over the edge and the bottom edge of the cover also hangs off of the bed.
Easy peasy.

Going to sleep at the end of a long day in a made bed is so nice.

It takes me a minute to make it and I enjoy it for hours, so it's worth taking the time.

To me, as clean as the room might be, a messy bed makes the room look messy and I like clean

I make teh bed shortly after I get up each morning. If I don't, it doesn't get made until I climb into it at night.

Every morning, it is just a childhood habit.

The exceptions are when a girlfriend is staying over and we sta in bed till late afternoon! :-)

When I get up to go to work I’ll fold it back to allow it to “air”. Then I’ll make it before I go out to work. And same procedure at the weekends.

I make it right away. Apparently I don't move much so it's very easy to make.

We rarely make our bed, but since our master bed is right off the front entryway we will pull the comforter square at least.
