Do you think its okay to justify when someone is rude to you you have to be rude back?

So i was pretty bad as a kid and my teenage niece is just rude to me and my aunt says I deserve that cuz I am rude too when I was that age.

That's why there's a saying, "What come around, comes back around."

If you're mean to others, they wil be mean to you to naturally. Be good to others, and they'll do the same

But really Im not mean I was mean cuz my guardian was mean to me so I fought back.

And she badmouth me to others so my other aunts believe her without hearing my side of story.

Well it's only reasonable that you're mean because your guardian is a trash

Yes and all people believed Im a bad guy and I didn't do anything to explain my side to them.

Take the higher ground, therefore, he/she can't say bad things about you. Act like you didn't even notice it. It will DRIVE them CRAZY !! I do it all the time with multi-cultures-from work. Eventually, they try to please me... some of them.
