It seems I have a good relationship with my father but I have always avoided physical affcetion toward him and hide my beauty. U think normal?

Do you think this is normal?

Sometimes he wants a hug and I'm not comfortable. Perplexing to me because I am at a normal rate of affectionate. I mean sure i dont hug my male siblings who never try to hug me.. but why do I shy away from my father who reaches out?

I'm especially affectionate towards my mother and didn't have a problem hugging others before the pandemic.

You have some deep complexities that are making you reject that affection , maybe something happened to you and you have suppressed that detail of the event , its hard to know the full reason. Normal? Well what does that word actually mean? There is something blocking you from those male family members , and it could be past experience or viewing of various actions.

I think its really abnormal to hug ur daughter once their watermelon starts blooming. Unless its something really tragic, then it will be otay so it depends on the circumstances the way i see it.
