My aunt just text me that my grandpa just died I don't know what to respond to her 🥹?

My grandpa dad side just passed away. I don’t have communication with them but only one aunt. She is married to my dads brother , we always keep in touch even tho we don’t see each other. Me and my dad don’t have communication because of personal issues. What should I respond to my Aunt? 🥹

Who knows. My grandad just died my dad told me. My response is still I don't know what to say.
And that's with knowing him and been on good terms. Because what does one say to death? What logically is there to say. It's not some fictional story of I have someone to get revenge on it's just death.

That's a tough one. I would advise to just say what you feel. Unless of course you're going to say something mean. Just tell her that you're sorry to hear and sorry for her loss. There's probably not anything you can do, but offer. Tell her that your thoughts are with her.
