My mom has heart disease and can't get vaccinated and my aunt and keep telling my mom to get covid vaccine cuz it will keep her safe from COVID and also she said covid vaccines are safe for people especially older people like my mom. And that she is stupid for not getting vaccine and that she is only concern for my mom. I told her its not right to keep telling people what to do and she said Im just worried of her getting COVID because Im concern

If your mom can't get the vaccine because of medical condition then she have to apply other methods of covid prevention, vaccine isn't really a big help anyway what vaccine does is introduces weak virus to body and then body will create anti bodies and protein to kill that but the anti bodies are created by ourselves and our body kills it not vaccine so without vaccine you can survive that's how people lived on first wave with just fever and cold tablets, vaccine is not medicine it's just a simulation to boost immunity, and they have side effects and stuff so why take them if you can just stay home sanitize social distance and wear mask, also covid is literally like normal cold now a days no one cares about it and it's almost out of reach very few cases, keep this in mind when covid is not popular plus your mom having other medical condition and if your aunt knows about it and is still forcing her to take it then she is trying to assert some dominance and control your mom to feel the status above her, people lose their mind in mid to old age because of hormones and hence Karens are born as you see in internet, your mom should avoid her or just say a fake yes and chill with her life it will send a message

I work in this industry. I operate a consulting firm for major pharmaceutical companies focused on a number of things. I might be able to help. I would have your mom talk to her doctor first. While the vaccines have been effective in preventing very serious complications there are just so many mutations and variants. If she is in a high risk category I would say yes it would be a good idea to get the vaccine. Some protection is better than no protection. She should talk to her doctor though. That is the best advice she will receive. I am not a doctor by the way.
