Anonymous(45 Plus)+1 yUp to you. I'm leery of it myself, but a lot of places I would work for are demanding it. So I either work, or somehow change jobs... or move to a state with less restrictions.
I know four people who have had heart issues develop, all "coincidentally" a week after getting the first dose. Could it all be coincidence? Sure. But very weird that all of them got it almost a week to the day (one was a week and a day). Awfully weird coincidence.
You can still get COVID if you have the vaccine. You can still be "a carrier" afterward, it's just the risk of potential severity goes down statistically if you're vaccinated. Covid's no joke, but it's statistically rare to get it, and rare that you die from it (around the same amount as death from the flu, depending on age bracket, health, etc).
I don't begrudge your choice to get one (or not get one)... I'm not an anti vaxxer, but with this one, I get the trepidation so many people have. There are a lot of logical holes either way. I guess it's up to you whether or not it's worth the risk; who you trust to listen to... We don't have much data on whether or not there are adverse side effects. We may not ever really get real numbers, either, as there seems to always be an agenda on both sides. So it's all going to be almost blind faith and your upbringing, either choice you make.
I wish I could help. A lot of life is sometimes going to be like that, where you don't have clear, concise answers to make decisions. But just try to listen to logic and think it through. And when it becomes political, or screaming names "libtard" or "right wing nut job," then that often means someone has probably lost the argument on logic, and it's time to end the conversation and it's best to back away and try to find someone who can have a debate with logic and try to stick to as many facts as they can, so you can at least understand others (and perhaps change your mind or stance, or do more research to learn more) and this can be time consuming... Good luck.00 Reply

+1 yWeigh the pros and cons. You're quite young, and unless you're particularly unhealthy, your risk from Covid is essentially zero. The risk of immediate side effects from the treatment is also extremely low; the long term is unknown, but it's unlikely to be very high- with the possible exception of antibody-dependent enhancement flattening you. There's no evidence of that in humans, but it has been observed in test mice- and sometimes it takes years for it to show up (I think the Dengue fever vaccine is two or three years).
There are also concerns as to what it'd do to the virus- turning it into another Marek's disease is a real risk. And giving spike protein capabilities to any one of the trillions of viral cells in your body probably doesn't scare you as much as it should.
But I think your primary concern should be for the precedent you're setting. Do safety rules cease to matter if you're sufficiently afraid? Even if that fear is based on bad information? If you've confused seat belts with air bags and think they kill more people than they save, would that justify not wearing one? And above that is the issue of control. Let's say that the company you've most longed to work for, the best company and your dream job, decides it'll save money on maternity leave by insisting that all its employees be taking birth control pills for the duration of their employment there. Would you support that? Think of the messages you're sending.00 Reply
Yes. You should. Unless your doctor has told you that you're allergic to one of the ingredients, or that you shouldn't get it, you should.
Most people who I know didn't have any serious side effects. My side-effects were among the worst I've heard of, but based on further research, I think I might have already had Covid and been asymptomatic. I think that's what caused the side effects. But even so, I was fine again after a few days, and the worst thing that happened is that I threw up.
I didn't regret it, and the second shot barely gave me any side-effects.
And once you're vaccinated, you won't need to be so afraid of the virus. I know I felt so much safer after I knew I had a level of immunity. You'll also have more freedom to do things. Not to mention, you won't get kicked out of school, since you said it will be mandated soon.
It's not worth getting kicked out of school for it. Just breathe, and get the shot, and then it will be done, and you won't have to worry about it. Bring a friend if you're nervous about the shot itself. (I hate needles, and hyperventilated the whole time, but when they actually gave me the shot I barely felt it).00 Reply
+1 yGet vaccinated.
The reason the vaccines were approved so fast is because they kinda removed the red tape bureaucracy.
Usually the process is very linear and segmented - one part didn't start until the other had completed, even if they could be worked in tandem. This is because there's often not an immediate need for the treatment.
In the case of COVID and the mRNAs, the pandemic was an eventuality (we've known another one was coming since the SARS pandemic, and it only grows more likely with more population), and there was a known market (aka the pharmacy companies knew there would be buyers). So they let multiple stages run simultaneously. And streamlined approvals because speed was of the essence in controlling the spread.
In addition, you can search publicly available data on negative reactions to the vaccine. Depending on where you live, maybe even local data.
No one can make the choice but you, but I would strongly encourage you to think of it. I've had both Pfizer shots and experienced zero side effects.10 Reply

+1 yI feel that everyone should get vaccinated and at the same time I feel everyone has a right to decide for themselves. I caught COVID-19 twice. The first time was pretty rough worse than any other flu I’d ever had I quarantined myself to my room which has its own bathroom and didn’t come out for about 3 weeks. I couldn’t hardly eat I basically ate watermelon and drank lots of fluids. My wife stayed at the other end of the house due to her being high risk and my daughter lived with us thankfully because she was the only one that I had to bring me food and she worked 40 hours a week so it wasn’t easy. I lost a lot of weight and it took at least another month before I got my appetite back but I pulled through it and neither my daughter or wife got sick. Then approximately 8 or 9 months later (I think) I was feeling a little of didn’t think I had Covid but due to my wife’s health I went and got tested. Yep had it again did quarantine all over again but this time it wasn’t hardly anything. I wasn’t going to do the shot because anytime in the past when I got a flu shot I got a bad flu and a few times when I skipped the flu shot I didn’t even get the flu that year but my daughter kept on me because of my wife’s health and my daughter had already gotten hers so I figured if my daughter got it and it turns out to be bad then I might as well cause I won’t let her go it alone. Anyways first shot felt funky from it second shot felt fine. Since all of this two good friends have been hit by delta one has died and the other is not looking like they’re going to make it and know of three other people actually distant family that have been taken by delta. Before delta hit I was the only one I personally knew that even caught COVID-19. This is my story do with what you want

+1 yThere is an incredible amount of misinformation about the COVID Vaccine. The misinformation is killing people. People are dying, who don't need to die. The vaccines that have mRNA, which requires super cold storage and proper defrosting. If you are getting that type of vaccine, I would do a mass vaccination site because there will be more people monitoring to ensure the vaccine is kept at the proper temperature. I believe the mRNA vaccines will be more robust at protecting against the new strains of Covid, such as the Delta and Lambda strains. The rationale is that the vaccine is based off of the spike protein chain, rather than the whole virus. All of the variants should have that same spike protein, hence protection against the new variants with the vaccines with mRNA technology.

+1 yI had Covid over 17 months ago before anybody cared and I have been exposed to it since with no issues. My broad-spectrum natural anti-bodies are doing just fine without a vaccine. The mRNA however, may be giving all a false sense of security as it provides a specific anti-body for a virus that no longer exists. The original virus is now mutated against the current vaccine and the vaccine lowers your broad-spectrum anti-bodies abilities to fight off the so-called “variant” also known as hoax number two—they never isolated Covid-19. The vaccine is dangerous, it has graphene oxide (no rationale), ethylene glycol, aluminum particles, parasites (scary), and other unidentified toxins/poisons within it, effectiveness only relates to symptom reduction and not catching or spreading the disease and it punches a hole through the injected one’s natural immune systems. These two videos should wake those who dare to watch:

So What Does It Do? 19 Reply- +1 y
Also, there is no easy personal answer to this but I have decided that if I am up against a mandate, I will walk from a great career. There is no rational reason for this jab mandate because it does not protect others as it spreads just the same. The only Constitutional viable reason for a mandate is if it protected others (for the greater good) which it does not, so one must question the force of this jab push. Can anyone tell me why a highly toxic graphene oxide is in this vaccine beyond the 5G hysteria? There is no known medical reason for it. Can anyone tell me why they still are forcing a jab that has killed >30,000 and permanently injured >100,000 that we know of reported?
- +1 y
There isn't any graphene oxide in the vaccine it's been debunked. The vaccine related deaths are actually 3 that are confirmed due to clots. Here's a quote from a a real article I'll post below "Between December 2020 and July 19th, 2021, VAERS received 6,207 reports of death (0.0018% of doses) among people who got a vaccine, but this does not mean the vaccine caused these deaths. Doctors and safety monitors carefully review the details of each case to see if it might be linked to the vaccine."
That's just the United States. Here over 639k deaths divided into the total population is approximately 1 in 527 Americans have died of covid so far. 3 confirmed deaths of a vaccine? You don't know what the vaccine will do? It can save you. Getting infected and spreading this is crazy. How many people should die of this and how many people are you willing to infect and force your stupidity onto and possibly killing them too? - +1 y

@Friendlybro79 “There isn't any graphene oxide in the vaccine it's been debunked.” I would like to see that evidence because several doctors are showing blood samples of it now online and also “vaccine” samples under the microscope that show it—so if you actually have a reference to that debunking I would like to see it. You are obviously cherry picking your articles because there are more obituaries online now due to the vaccine so your reference is not reliable in that basic statement. Open VAERS is reporting as of August 20, 2021, 13,627 Post-COVID Vaccine Reported Deaths and 55,821 Post-COVID Vaccine Reported Hospitalizations. No one at this time can clearly state that they are not related as in your reference and therefore the uncertainty coupled with all of the obituaries online of deaths within hours to a couple days of receiving the injection. The implication is at least there and the risk is also there. Cont.
- +1 y
Also, it is now proven that the “vaccine” does not work as people are still catching the virus. UPDATE 7/30 “CDC study shows 74% of people infected in Massachusetts Covid outbreak were fully vaccinated” www.cnbc.com/.../...eak-were-fully-vaccinated.html Therefore, if they are catching it they are still spreading it. The current vaccine is specific to a strain that is now past and these peoples broad spectrum antibodies are shut down. The vaxxers are becoming the “variant” cause multiplier and the super-spreaders. The people that receive the vax are at higher risk of catching the virus than those that developed natural immunity.

- +1 y
From my experience that article is true because I have been immersed in covid infected people and still haven’t caught it. As far as I can tell the vaccine offers nothing but too much risk:
21stcenturywire.com/.../
In addition there is a surge in the local hospital of young kids that received the vaccine that now are inundated with life threatening blood clots and who knows how long this will follow them through life.
Also, the CDC has been caught reallocating deaths from everything else to Covid deaths. The total death rate for everything stayed the same from 2019 to 2020. The evidence is building that the deaths due to this “Covid” invention may not even exist. When the new tests come out in December to separate this hoax “Covid” from everything else, we will see how much fakery has been occurring.
I don’t know if you own stock in these vaccine companies or you just choose to stick your head in the sand, but you can shove that needle up your arse as many times as you want because there is nothing that will make me take it.
- +1 y
False. The vaccine isn't 100% however it's preventing people from being hospitalized. Unvaccinated people are allowing the virus more time to mutate into potentially new and more dangerous.
- +1 y
@Friendlybro79 False, now the “CDC Quietly Reports 6% Actually Died from COVID – That’s 9,210 Deaths!* ” which is less than the 13,911 Post-COVID Vaccine Reported Deaths of open VAERS.
https://www.openvaers.com/
sarahwestall.com/.../
I can personally now confirm that the vaxers are now becoming the spreaders because I was around all vaxers last week and caught a mild version of it, which is due to the vaxxer mutation fake “variant”—I had the original Covid already 17 months ago, full blown one. However, I have a very strong broad spectrum immunity, natural immune system and so this round is very mild, I barely notice it.

Think little brain before Fauci kills you. Are you planning to get the booster, the fourth injection, fifth injection and so on until you are dead?
It's perfectly safe and a great benefit if you haven't had covid yet.
People against it are paranoid idiots. Just because it didn't take 10 years like other vaccines doesn't mean it is bad.
It's a brand new vaccine type that uses mRNA, which your body normally produces to make other things. mRNA is instructions to build proteins. Your cells read this little mRNA template to make a harmless piece of the virus. Your body identifies this piece as being foreign and destroys them, remembering them for later so it can be better prepared.
I got it, and the first dose just made my arms sore and I felt a teeny bit off. The second dose I was fatigued and shivering but that was just my immune system responding to what it thought was a threat.
If you haven't had covid yet you should REALLY get the vaccine, because when you do get covid you'll get way sicker and it'll be much more unpleasant than just getting the vaccine. The needle doesn't hurt at all, at first I was like... "did he even put it in yet?"30 Reply- 637 opinions shared on Health & Fitness topic.
+1 yThere is so much disinformation it's hard to know who to trust.
But here are some numbers that might make some sense to you...
In the past four months, from May to August, there have been 164-million americans vaccinated. The CDC has more or less quit counting cases for vaxed, but are counting hospitalizations and deaths, since that's what is truly relevant, and because vaxed people that contract the virus again may get mild cold symptoms or nothing at all.
So here are those numbers:
7100 hospitalizations for break-through cases - people vaxed that got covid again
1500 deaths. Average age - 72.5 (it stands to reason many of these were going to die of something anyway)
Now, for the unvaccinated:
332,000 hospitalizations
32,000 deaths.
If you can't make sense of these numbers then there's no hope for understanding. Yes there are some adverse reactions, but the vast majority are minor and dissapate within a couple of days. Having some mild reaction for immunity building is a far lower risk than dying from covid complications.
In my county, in my age group - over 60 years of age - 91% have been vaccinated. If there were severe adverse reactions and deaths, all of the old people would be dropping like flies. Just nothing. On the other hand, we know lots and lots of people with loved ones that have died, and just about everyone we know that isn't vaxed has come down with the virus.
If you're still not sure, look up zdoggmd vids on youtube - he's a local doctor that isn't partisan, and explains things well. Or watch the Dr. Been vids. And yes, GET THE VAX!!22 Reply- +1 y

Anonymous(30-35)+1 y"... why are people pushing this one like never before?"
Umm, maybe because this virus is killing people like never before, and getting a majority of people vaccinated will save countless lives and save billions of dollars in economic impact?
Getting this vaccine is truly a no brainer.
Browneye57 laid out the facts pretty well. I'll just add that the MRNA vaccine methodology has been studied for decades and is known to be very safe and effective. That's why they were able to produce the new vaccine so quickly and get emergency approval from the FDA for it. The Pfizer vaccine now has full FDA approval. Almost 400 million doses have been given in the US alone, not to mention worldwide, and side effects have proven to be very mild. Serious side effects are exceedingly rare.
I know you probably think you are young and don't need to worry about getting sick. That's what my 22 year old neighbor thought. He is dead now, from CoViD.
But it's much bigger than that. Getting vaccinated is a responsibility to our fellow humans. If you get sick, even if you recover just fine, chances are high you will spread it so someone else, who might not be so fortunate. By not getting vaccinated, you could literally be choosing to kill someone. Do you want that blood on your hands?
The MRNA vaccine is incredibly safe and effective. Don't be a dufus about it.

If someone feels covid is a serious risk they are welcome to get the vaccine.
Oh wait. This vaccine isn't effective at preventing the illness. Hahaha
Opinion Owner+1 y@RationalMale The vaccine is actually highly effective at preventing the illness. It's possible but unlikely to contract it when vaccinated, but more importantly, it is extremely effective at preventing serious illness and death. There are also a lot of people who are unable to be vaccinated for various health reasons, even though they would like to be vaccinated (because they have brain AND a conscience).

If you're unsure then you should be looking into the facts.
And it seems like you're not, because you're repeating the sort of BS that anti-vaxxers love to repeat, even though it's provably false.
Like focusing on this vaccine is the quickest development of a vaccine ever. This is not an issue, if you looked into it. It's not a new technology, the development normally goes in sequence not in parallel and normally you have to spend a long time looking for volunteers.
The accelerated time frame is easily explained to anyone who bothers to look into it. But for those who want to spread fear confusion and doubt, they just keep repeating "rushed" and "cutting corners" which is bullshit.
Same with wondering why it's being pushed. That's not difficult to understand, unless you're the sort of idiot who believes the right-wing lies about very very not serious the disease is.
It is serious. We have/had a very short window to wipe the thing out and save lives. We push it the same way we pushed washing hands, hygiene, social distancing and masking. We pushed to save lives.
Again, if you're a paranoid nut, or someone who genuinely can't understand the concept of empathy, of actually caring whether the people around you get sick and die, then yes this is going to confuse you.

RESPONSE TO UPDATE:
The vaccine is not rushed. These sorts of vaccines are created every year with the flu shot. So, every vaccine is simply a tweak from previous vaccines. Most of the existing vaccines were distributed under "Emergency Authorization Use" because we needed it to go out to everyone as quickly as possible. Formal approval would come later...
... and that's exactly what has happened!
For anyone over 16, the Pfizer vaccine ("Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 Vaccine") is now fully approved by the FDA no different than any other vaccine that you got growing up. The Pfizer vaccine even now has a stupid commercial name just like all other drugs. The Pfizer vaccine is now called Comirnaty.

There's another reality you need to deal with:
You will be required to be vaccinated by your school.
You have your fears that you vaccination may harm you...
But you also have the fear that, if you don't get vaccinated, your school WILL harm you by banning you until you are vaccinated.
That first event MAY happen if you vax.
That latter event WILL happen if you don't vax.
Think about that.

- +1 y
Yes, it is. 100% There’s no reason for anyone under 30 who is healthy to get the vaccine. It’s ineffective at preventing covid, at best it’s only good for keeping high-risk folks out of the hospital. They’re so ineffective you’re going to need a booster not 8 months after your 2nd dose. People with the shot are still spreading covid. They don’t contribute to herd immunity.
- +1 y
If you can't provide a source then it's bullshit. Everything I've seen has proven that getting vaccinated helps everyone. Considering 90+% of hospital patients are those who are unvaccinated I'd say your claims are bullshit.
- +1 y
Also needing a booster doesn't mean it's ineffective. It's a mutating virus. You need a flu shot every year.
- +1 y
Look at Israel. Very high vaccination rate and they’re getting creamed by covid. The CDC wants you to wear a mask even if you’re vaccinated because if you get covid you carry as much of a viral load as the unvaccinated. I thought you liked to say you trust science.
- +1 y
Heck the covid vaccines are MORE effective than the flu shot.
- +1 y
That’s not saying anything. Once again. Why is the CDC asking masked people to wear masks? What was their reasoning. I’m sure you can tell me.
- +1 y
Nobody ever said the vaccine stops the virus. Vaccinated people are less likely to get seriously Ill and die from covid. Which is what we need considering most countries with high cases hospitals have already run out of ICU beds and ventilators. Nurses are literally picking and choosing who has a better chance of surviving.
- +1 y
If the shot doesn’t stop the virus, then it’s a useless shot. But you all were claiming it does stop the virus just a few months ago. There’s no reason for you to worry if someone else gets the shot because it protects you from getting sick and that’s all that matters. All of this coercion can stop. All the vax passports can stop. All the mandatory shots can stop.
- +1 y
An you really take anything anyone says at face value.
I'll break it down for you.
The vaccine can prevent you from getting covid and it will in most cases. But of course there will be break through cases as no vaccine is 100% effective. In these breakthrough cases we are seeing people become far less sick than those without the vaccine, they're much less likely to need hospital treatment. CDC changed their mind om mask use because of the appearance of breakthrough cases (and probably in part due to people pretending to be vaccinated) meaning you are still able to spread the virus even if you're vaccinated. Things would go back to normal aka no mask use if we achieve herd immunity. - +1 y
Also still being able to spread the virus doesn't mean every vaccinated person can. There's not an easy way of knowing who the vaccine worked in and who it didn't. So we take precautions.
- +1 y
Yeah, except your leaky shot isn’t stopping the spread. The only way to stop the virus is natural immunity. That’s becoming more apparent.
- +1 y
It would if more people got vaccinated. Natural immunity doesn't last and our hospitals can't handle everyone getting covid. Natural immunity and the vaccine is more protection than immunity alone.
- +1 y
@Diamold everything I said was factual. Hell, last week Duke University had 349 positive tests, 341 of them were vaccinated.
- +1 y
Again the vaccine doesn't stop you from getting the virus. It prevents you from hospitalization and death. 90% of Duke students and employees are vaccinated it's very likely 1 unvaccinated person caused the outbreak. It's baffling how ignorant you choose to be.

Lmao. You’re still blaming the unvaccinated person? Do you realize how unlikely that is? Do you realize how dumb that sounds? The Duke has 90% students/employees vaccinated and can’t eat inside and have to wear masks. Does that get through your head at all? If 90% vaccinated doesn’t return us to normal, then it will never happen. You are prescribing yourself to never ending masks and bullshit. Good luck with that, I won’t be participating.
- +1 y
With the Delta varient because it is such a stronger more viral version it's more likely to break through the vaccines first line of defense. First line being prevention, using antibodies and b cells. These are made by your body specifically (introduced by the virus) to attack spike proteins. But with Delta there's more of a viral load so more spike proteins than the body is able to produce antibodies against. This is where the back up "weapon" so to speak comes into play, your cytotoxic t cells. These recognize infection in your body and attack them. Which is why yes we have a lot of breakthrough cases but we don't have an increase in hospitalizations in vaccinated people. It is still mostly unvaccinated people who are suffering severely and dying from covid.
Delta is attacking young people so the whole age thing is just irrelevant now. Get vaccinated or stay home. - +1 y
I will neither get vaccinated or stay at home. I have natural immunity from a prior infection, which means my immunity is exponentially better and stronger than you who took the shot. So realistically, YOU stay home before I do. Got it, now?
- +1 y
Get vaccinated anyway you'll have even greater immunity.
- +1 y
Why the fuck would I do that? Not only does it not confer more immunity, it risks a negative effect from the vaccine. That’s the stupidest shit I’ve ever heard.
- +1 y
It scientifically does though. People with natural "immunity" and 1 dose of vaccine are more protected than natural"immunity" alone.
"A letter published in the Lancet in March discussed an experiment in which 51 healthcare workers in London were given a single dose of the Pfizer vaccine. Half of the healthcare workers had previously recovered from covid-19 and it was they who experienced the greatest boost in antibodies—more than 140-fold from peak pre-vaccine levels—against the virus’s spike protein." - +1 y
The latest Harvard study shows that natural immunity confers 27x more immunity than your crappy, leaky shots. Including the delta variant. So, I’ll stick with what I have. Just keep your viral load away from my family.
- +1 y
Cite the study
- +1 y
Not Harvard but still
"Individuals who were both previously infected with SARS-CoV-2 and given a single dose of the vaccine gained additional protection against the Delta variant." - +1 y
I need you to quarantine so you don’t spread the delta variant to me.
- +1 y
I'm fully vaccinated, always wear a mask when out and take a test every couple of weeks. I'm not the person you should be worried about.
- +1 y
Lol, you’re not fully vaccinated. In case you haven’t heard, you’re going to need a booster.
- +1 y
Then I'll get the booster when I need it. For now I am double vaxxed which is considered fully vaccinated even if you need a booster eventually.
- +1 y
THen of course the 4th booster will come out in 6 months and you’ll line right up for that, too….. still wearing your mask, lol.
- +1 y
You are so ignorant. If that's the case then it would be BECAUSE of unvaccinated people. I will keep getting boosters as long as is necessary to keep myself and my friends safe. It really sucks that when faced with life or death situations you choose to do absolutely nothing to help people around you. Incredibly selfish.
- +1 y
@Smashingdoozy there is no point arguing with ignorant people
They're way too close minded to understand anything that goes beyond their comprehension
They would need to study in university for many years
Takes way too long
🤷♂️ - +1 y
I mean obviously. He cited a study that a. Wasn't by who he said it was by b. Not peer reviewed and c. Proved my point.
- +1 y
It was reported by a Harvard epidemiologist and I conflated the two. Clearly that means I was wrong. You dope.
It said exactly what I said it did later in the paper. Natural immunity is up to 28 more times effective than your shots.
And you base your whole worship on masks on non-peer reviewed studies and models. So let’s not get too high your science knowledge. - +1 y

Wait, so a study of 2 hairdressers is what you’re calling science? Bahahaha.
- +1 y
Read the other 4 then.
- +1 y
Yeah, the 2nd one at least admits there’s never been a RCT for mask effectiveness, so any evidence of mask effectiveness is from observational studies and/or studies of other viruses in a healthcare setting as opposed to the real world.
- +1 y
Healthcare settings need full PPE for covid real world settings you just need a cloth/surgical mask. Covid in everyday life is spread by droplets masks prevent the amount of droplets spread. You don't need to be a genius to work that one out.
- +1 y
@Smashingdoozy You literally haven’t shut up all day. Go get another tattoo and then complain that you don’t have enough money because you are underpaid or something.
- +1 y
Got plenty of money, nice to know you care though 😌
- +1 y
Just my own hard earned money... You're 19 you really can't talk shit rn.
- +1 y
Except covid-19 is spread by aerosol, not droplets. Those blue masks maybe stop 10%…and that’s in a laboratory setting.
- +1 y
Its spread by aerosol in a medical environment aka when you're literally down the throat of a covid patient. In every other setting it's by droplets.
- +1 y
Cool? So do I?
- +1 y
Yeah, you’re wrong about droplets/aerosol spread.
- +1 y
You're welcome to come into my dms.
You don't understand how currency works do you? 🙃 - +1 y
Except every single peer reviewed study says I'm right so 🤷🏻♀️ I'll believe that over some ignorant guy on the internet
- +1 y
Technically I am but my money is in USD as I do live here. Not that that's relevant...
- +1 y
If droplets were the method of transmission, then it doesn’t matter if someone else wears a mask as long as you do.
- +1 y
Man you keep coming back with the ignorant statements. If I wear my seatbelt it doesn't matter if everyone else doesn't. That's exactly what you are saying. If everyone wears their seatbelt, everyone is protected. If everyone wears their mask everyone is protected.
- +1 y
Yes, because that’s exactly the point of a seatbelt. You gotta feel foolish when your analogy proves my point, lol. If I don’t wear a seatbelt and get in a wreck with you and you’re wearing one, your seatbelt protects you in that wreck. You wearing your seatbelt doesn’t protect me in that wreck. You can’t be serious.
- +1 y
Yes. But if everyone was wearing their seatbelt everyone is protected. Can you not read?
In reality wearing a mask protects others from you, so if everyone did their part everyone is protected. - +1 y
If I don’t want to wear my seatbelt, that’s my business, not yours. You wearing one is your choice to keep yourself safe. I don’t need you (nor does anyone else) to protect me from myself. That’s the point that is lost on you.
- +1 y
Jfc 🤦🏻♀️ can't argue with stupid
+1 yOkay.. here is the thing. People are bias, no getting around that. I would highly recommend talking to your doctor if you have any questions or concerns about getting vaccinated. There are a TON of people online creating a lot of confusion, fear, and misinformation. Trust your primary healthcare provider, and if you don't find a new one. Regardless of he political conflict, I highly recommend finding a healthcare professional that makes you feel comfortable and that you trust so that you can ask anything you need to and make an informed decision regarding your own health and body.

+1 yI think you should because that's what all legitimate medical journals and science says is the best approach.
Any other argument is based in nothing scientific, nothing with substance, and 100% fear.
Question for you not meant sarcastically. What have you done to educate yourself on the safety of the covid vaccines? If you're scared who have you reached out to professionally to help you through this?
What do you know vs what do you think?
Who can you trust vs who can't you?
Regarding trust if you don't believe in the institutions or science are you willing to place you're life in the hands of people on the internet that think they know better or have more insight than a medical expert?
Please ask your doctor. Don't trust these idiots on this site. They do not know anything and they are fear mongers27 Reply- +1 y
It is actually you who does not know what he is talking about.
The fact of the matter is that this vaccine is a completely new approach and as such the long term effects and potential problems are UNKNOWABLE, because no data can exist, so anyone who tells you that it is safe, is guesstimating. None of these people can be held responsible for being wrong.
I think you would struggle to find a doctor who, were they exposing themselves to legal action, tell a patient that it was in their best interests to get the vaccine if the patient is in a low risk group.
The long and the short of this is that as we each must be responsible for the outcome, whatever that may be, it seems clear that we should each be free to choose what we want to do from an informed position.
Evidently you are not an advocate of informed consent as you are here pressuring someone to make the choice you want them to make using arguments which are not true. - +1 y
@Guffrus she asked an opinion I gave her mine but advised her to speak to a doctor if she's confused. I'm not forcing anyone with words. All of you fear mongering idiots are part of a big problem in this world. You do not understand the science at all when you say things like this. My opinion is based in actual science that I trust. You don't trust anything except fear and random people on the internet. The same science that made your beloved drugs that have been advocated as cures but have all been debunked. Idiots. Everything about the mrna technology you're stating is false. Anyone talking about long term effects, you don't understand that vaccines are completely gone from your system and the likely hood of long term symptoms are unlikely after 2 months and almost no chance around 6 months. You're making things up and you're basing them on random people that have been discredited. The entire medical community and scientific community say get it because of long hours of studies to ensure it is safe. A few people saying no don't make them correct. I hope you don't have anyone suffer like I did in my family. Some paid with their lives.
- +1 y
Oh and to be clear I meant that you anti science anti vaxxers will take horse medication but not a simple safe vaccine. You'll trust discredited science over credited science. Ivermectin study completely debunked no actual study took place with its use for covid. DEBUNKED.
- +1 y
No study proving ivermectin works for covid. Same as bleach too if you're unsure
- +1 y
@Guffrus you can call me whatever you want but you don't know your ass from your elbow. Just agree with the discredited and disagree with the entire scientific community and you think you know something. Ivermectin is not recommended and has not been proven to help against covid.
Anonymous(25-29)+1 yDon't. Wait for at least 2 years please.
I know, even I'm having this strange gut feeling. The media is trying to suppress it's side effects.
It's been 5 months only in my country and now it's MANDATORY to be fully vaccinated in order to enter malls, airports, restaurants.
I was about to get it but then after seeing how govt. being so desperate, makes me DOUBT IT EVEN MORE. Fuck malls and airports. My safety first. I ain't giving in to peer pressure. +1 yyou should get it, the side effects if you get any, are just a sore arm, and a headache, that goes away in a few days however some people can feel run down from it, not all, but if you want to protect yourself and others get vaccinated, it'll work regardless if you get side effects or not

I won't get another one in my life.. I believe some of the shots are poison some aren't.. I think its for population control.. doctors that speak against it are loses their practices.. the government is telling us what we can or can't do with fines being given out.. something doesn't seem right.. the vaccinated people smell like cleaning products or mold.. some people I believe will get a placebo but I am not playing Russian Roulette with my body.. I am completely against it but my whole family took it has me plagued as being a conspiracy theorist so do with this as you will but educate yourself.. nurses are speaking out.. if something feels off I trust myself and won't allow myself to be pussured into it even if my own mother is afraid ill kill her cause im not vaccinated and she is.. life is going to be different... I would never let a sickness come between me and my child.. I dont want any ill adopt one day give a child hope.. that got a bad set of cards to start out with.. but bringing an innocent child into this corrupt world isn't something id do! That's up to you, but I wouldn't. If anyone is trying to make you get something, it doesn't take a genius to figure out you should probably tell them to f*ck off. But "My Body, My Choice" only applies to irresponsible Liberal women who don't use protection, apparently.

The best you can hope for with the vaccine now is immunity from last years strain.

@Smashingdoozy its not that its because the covid vaccine came so quickly and these are things inside this vaccine that kills us and some people believe the vaccine is safe but they experimenting at us first so its no fun
wait 5 years or 10 to see results then - +1 y
Vaccines don't last that long in your system. They're out within a couple weeks. Nothing in them will kill you unless you have a severe reaction or side effect which is very rare. So nothing will come from the vaccine in 5-10 years time. It came quickly because there was a need for it. It was funded and every single vaccine specialist in the world was working on it. mRNA vaccines aren't new they've been working on them for over a decade. The research, basis and data was all there they just had to make it work with covid.
- +1 y
Also you said "how come the most dangerous deceases still without vaccine" I assume you mean diseases and in turn you mean viruses, so what ones don't have vaccines that you are concerned about?

Look up how many people have died from taking it, and how many have died because they didn't take it.
Then draw your own conclusions!21 Reply- +1 y
(US data) So. 6,968 people have died after receiving a covid vaccine (this is from VAERS so the vaccine isn't determined to be the COD) that's a 0.001% chance of dying vs 657,169 deaths from covid so a 1.64% chance of dying if you get covid.
(I'd like to add that while writing this out the death toll literally increased)
I haven’t got vaccine yet, I’m scared too. I’m scared of the side effects, I have psoriasis, Aspergers & a lot of pain in my body. I can get pain in my arms feeling like I’m a little bit paralyzed, I also have cerebral palsy.

But bottom line, it's no different than getting the flu shot (if you do that?). And that's coming from a nurse that gave it to me, it's not just my personal opinion. All the possible side effects you can get, you can get with ANY vaccine. My advice is yes get it. Any side effects you might get are not only temporary, but WAY less than if you got Covid.

Opinion Owner+1 yOn update, I understand that feeling, but they say it wasn't really "rushed". It went through ALL the testing and requirements that everything else goes through. While there was a "rush" as in the NEED for it, it wasn't rushed. They were able to expedite it with extra funding they got for it, which made a huge difference with time. It's almost always money that is the delay with these things.
There are videos of people who are dying in the hospital from Covid, and they'll say they wished they hadn't farted around about getting the shot, and now they regret it. It's best to get the shot now than regret it later.

@Subarugirl She said she felt “pretty bad.” Ofc after watching so many others being injured by the drug, I may have assumed that she is on their level but she didn’t specify so you’re also just assuming she meant the milder redaction too.
Either way, not enough time has been put to study the types of reactions this drug will have so time will tell.
I, myself, have had many negative reactions to vaccines in the past and still dealing with them. I’m sharing information that I deem helpful. - +1 y
+1 yWell, we are currently back to the CDC saying everyone needs to wear a face mask whether they had the vaccine or not.
Why bother getting a vaccine that our own government declares won't keep you from getting the illness it is for?34 Reply- +1 y
It's a "vaccine" that per the CDC won't stop you from catching the illness and now needs a third injection after only a few months.
If that sounds good with you go for it. I had covid and recovered well enough to work in four days. Over half of covid cases don't even have any symptoms.

- +1 y
This is patently false. I had it last January, it's not a joke. It can make you REALLY sick. But the real consequences are from the immunity spin up your bod does against it - THAT is what kills people. Your lungs fill up with bateria-laden snot till you can't breath. So they put you on a ventilator and then your lungs give up trying to breath. About half of those people die.
I didn't think I needed a vax cuz I had it, so natural immunity. I'm also against mandates - people should have all the facts and decide for themselves.
But in the past four months, the delta variant has gone from 30% of cases to nearly 100 - if you haven't had covid and you haven't got a vax, YOU'RE GONNA GET IT. Then you take your chances, and chances are high you'll be sicker than a dog.
So for me, the Janssen vax was like a booster. Now even if I get exposed again, I'm 95-100% protected from serious illness or death. I like those odds just fine. - +1 y
I never said it was a joke. But I am saying it's a devil we know now.
That means people of certain ages and health history need to make the conscious choice of taking the vaccine as it will save them.
People of other ages and and different health records can rest easy knowing the virus will hit them like a cold nothing more. They can opt to take the vaccine too.
But the way we still talk about lockdowns and restrictions and mandatory vaccination is just wrong on every possible level - +1 y
Agreed. If you have any risk factors, or are facing a mandate, get the vax. It's painless.

@Friendlybro79 The very INVENTOR of mRNA technology, Dr. Robert Malone, is saying this vaccine is DANGEROUS, especially for kids!
Same with the gawdam test, Kary Mullis was the inventor of the PCR test and he was saying you can't use the PCR to diagnose ANYTHING. He was also calling Dr. Fauci a FRAUD way back since the 1990s. COINCIDENTALLY, Kary Mullis Died in August 2019. Nope, nothing suspicious about that sh! t! - +1 y

Only the death jab ones, rushed into production prematurely ok’d for use, not released until the manufacturers got blanket immunity from criminal and civil lawsuits by world governments before they’d release it, only the ones where a politician is threatening his citizens for not taking it. Only the ones where the governors are begging, bribing with money or outright threatening citizens to get it.

- +1 y
@Lippime123 , good for dr malone
- +1 y
@VikingWarLord He isn't the sole inventor. You need to read into things more.
He was one of MANY responsible for the development of mrna tech which spans back from the 80s. He has also been debunked with some of the things he takes credit for
While Malone's research may have been important, scientific breakthroughs don't always boast a sole "inventor." Instead, they come about through the work of many.
"Malone reached out to Logically, stating that he did not invent the mRNA vaccines, but instead the "vaccine technology platform." He also presented us with copies of nine patents – none of which showed that he invented the mRNA vaccines. The judgment for the claim has not changed."

So you take that how you will10 Reply It's up to you, getting vaccinated can help with preventing getting Covid but it's not a guarantee. All it'll do is give you the antibodies to help combat it. It's ultimately your decision one way or the other.

+1 yDon’t let yourself be pressured one way or the other. Talk to a doctor that you trust and knows your medical history. I felt I was coerced into getting it for work and I’m very bitter about it.
