H no, my mother always buys me gifts based on what she likes and never taking into account my taste or preference. My father is domineering and would pick someone I would hate because he doesn’t know me as a person he sees the child not me as an adult.

Nyet, but if they absolutely abhor her and there is a reason then I would definitely listen, I don't know why I said they when it's only my mother, my mother has always been nice to girls she randomly met that were with me, unless she sees some fucked up behavior I believe she's glad whatever I do
