Sounds like obsessive behavior. They're dwelling on thoughts about you. Knowing that little piece of info gives them a bit of insight into your actions and provides another anchor for their imagination to branch out from.

"Why did they get on so late?" "Why weren't they on for very long today?" "Let's see who else was on at the same time." Something like that.

Well in this case I was showing mixed signals and got swamped with work, this guy friend always helped me out when I needed him, on this occasion he didn't open and didn't read my message for 5 says then started posting lots of selfies of him partying and him out with women in clubs.
I used to always watch his stories and now I dont anymore i don't know if he was playing a game but it backfired anyways he's really confused about my behaviour because I made it very obvious I was single before and really needed his help for things around the house
