I think I only have one person that I know irl blocked. He was this guy that I used to hook up with when I was a teen. He started getting creepy and threatening me so I have all of his accounts blocked on every social media. I’ve had him blocked for years and he’s even made a new account just to try and contact me but I blocked that one too lol

Other than that, I know my aunt has me blocked on Facebook 💀
i started sharing memes and funny posts with swears and stuff in it when I was a teen. The same memes that everyone else my age was sharing. My aunt called my mom and told her about all the “inappropriate content” that I post online. Of course both her and my mom are older and neither understand social media or memes. So my mom flipped out on me all because of posts with some swears or dirty jokes lol

I messaged my aunt and told her that there’s no need to share everything I post with my mom and that she should mind her business. So she blocked me lmao.
She lives across the country so I don’t see her. But I’ve talked to her on the phone here and there and I see her once in a while, we still get along like it didn’t happen. Still blocked though lmao

I block people in real life all the time lol I just keep ignoring people or I walk away if they can't respect my boundaries, which I have made clear in the conversations and asked them to stop but they keep going on, so I don't start arguing and walk away.

Yeah, it was on a dating site and my neighbor connected with me. Up until we knew each other in passing, and were friendly neighbors but there was never a spark there. Not for me anyway.

One day she connected with me on line dating site. I told her I can't date a women that lives that close to me, because if it didn't work out it would be awkward, because there would be other women... and I don't want an ex-girlfriend living right next to me.

So I blocked her, we say hi when we see each other... but we never talked much in person. I guess I would hit it, but again she's my neighbor so I never pursued it.

If people don’t benefit my or someone in my family’s life, and it doesn’t mean I have to always agree with them. Challenge is healthy. But if there is no humor and only creep factor or meanness.. I will block whoever for however long I need to to make a point. You live long enough to learn you don’t have to live with it, so don’t.

I've blocked a few random trolls here and there over the years that just won't let things be and agree to disagree. It's incredibly rare though.
There are a couple family members that are quite toxic that I've blocked, and yes, in their cases that extends into RL.

I have blocked or "unfriended" people who I know in real life if my posts are upsetting them or if they are getting pissed and arguing with me. I just basically don't want them seeing or commenting on my posts. I don't need that.

But that doesn't necessarily mean that I won't associate or be friends with them in real life. We'll probably never be close friends again, though.

In regards to like Facebook. I think I've only blocked one person. Most people I just unfollow. That way they don't know that I can't see thier posts anymore. But it's out of sight, out of mind for me.

I've blocked my family as I've always had a policy of no relatives on social media. But also they ignored my I don't want photos of me on their profile and when I wanted them to delete them they refused. I really hate being in photos.

Maybe I am being ridiculous with wanting them deleted though.
