Have you ever had a family member block you on social media?

I have, my ex stepsister blocked me on Facebook after trying to readd her after being kicked out of my dad and stepmoms place last summer for hoarding issues. To this day they still want nothing to do with me even though I never physically hurt anyone or anything like that. I just wanted their forgiveness and to try to rebuild a relationship with them so my relationship with both my biological father and mother can coexist despite never being married and breaking up after my birth.

My sister and me blocked each other for a bit on various platforms as we had a slight falling out over an ex. Resolved after a month or so and some flowers.

my daughter also foolishly blocked me and her mum from one of her accounts. She did get a lesson on how to hack an account though.

My cousin was worried I would embarrass her or gossip about her so refused to befriend me on social media cause I was always happy when she failed because she lied and used people for money, every time a guy dumped her, I celebrated because I thought, the liar got pie faced again! Lol.

Not really, more or less gave me an ultimatum. And told me I had to be the one to clean up.

I just don't understand why they have to cut ties with you? But to answer your question, no I've never had that happen. Most of my family doesn't have social media anyway.

It's okay, you said exactly what needed to be known. You have an issue hoarding, I'm no psychologist but there's a reason to it and you should get help with it but what they did was unacceptable. I get your 31 and lived with your parents, I'm not gonna shame you, in fact generational households should be a thing again considering family mostly is what you rely on as a child, that said they did the worst thing and instead of supporting you, dumped you out to soldier alone. My guess is this isn't about the hoarding so much as pent up release of you out from the nest, I don't know how old your stepsister is but she probably blocked you cause you might ask her questions, try to wiggle your way into their hearts and they don't want to be together anymore or hold up a house not worth building
