I feel like one of my family members is very cling and expects me to text her throughout the day what shoukd I do?

If I don't reply she will send messages on other platforms I'm starting to find it annoying and I don't feel like we have a great connection as she is 10 years older than me and we don't share the same interests and she lives in a time zone that's 5 hours behind. Lately I've been working a lot of hours during the week at work and just can't be bothered talking when i get back home

What does she talk about it? If it's just the regular and basic hi and how are you, then call her out on her it and tell her you are not her mate. If she needs help like if she's depressed then tell her that you are there for her but you can't always keep in touch with her. Be gentle with your words at first but if she doesn't respect your boundaries, the block button is there for that sis! Family or not, when you set boundaries, the other person needs to respect them.

Don't support her behaviour. Be honest with her. But ask her if there is something going on, maybe she's lonely. Kindness goes a long way. Fare thee well!

It's been like this fir a couple of years now and I've hanged out with her before and she will e like "oh I'm going call mike" "I'm gonna call jill" she's constantly wanting to talk to someone

Well she may need therapy. I think you should just call her every month or so.

I don't live in her country and I have probably about 3/4 hours to myself after work and it's a physical job I'm just too exhausted most nights. I also have my own boyfriend to worry about. I feel like her family and friends where she lives shoukd be putting more effort in.
