Why won't my dead father come to me in a dream & tell me he is okay?

a few weeks ago my mom said she had a dream about my dead father they broke up in 2004 & they were never married just a little back ground info.

my mom says in the dream my dead father told her tell chris not to worry i'm fine.

why won't my dead father come to me in a dream & tell me that?

Yes my father passed away 5 years ago I also never seen my dad in a dream
My mom and brother has though
I think it’s ok don’t think too much about it
He will appear when he is ready

I believe that if somebody tells you a message that God gave you in a dream it means the message was meant for you too
