Can I cut off my rich friend without looking like I took advantage of her?

I have a friend with a bit of money who has spent a lot on me. Our friendship did end up becoming a brief relationship before she broke up with me. I've tried to stay her friend but it isn't the same as before. How can I peacefully end a friendship without looking like I was just her friend/boyfriend for money? Just ignoring her isn't possible because we have too many mutual friends who would reach out on her behalf. Should I try to pay her back somehow before I end it?

Step away nonchalantly. Never speak of her in public. Be gracious to her at all times but NOT Flirty. You owe her respect and not money assuming that she did these things because it brought her joy.
