We were closer when we were 13 and 14 but we always rode the same bus until second semester when I was 16 and transferred schools. I was just missing her and the friendship that we had. The first two texts were from yesterday but she didn’t answer and I texted her the other ones today I was just being honest but I hope that it’s not too much

I said that I was annoying in highschool because I would get mad at her for posting and not texting back and I blocked her when I was going through it because I was very paranoid at that time. I don’t know if she’ll even answer don’t know if she cares. Do y’all ever miss people from middle school? If this is too much I’ll be embarrassed.

And, yes, absolutely miss friends from middle and high school, 30+ years later. Here's the thing: when I've reconnected the bonds have been strong and the mistakes/slip ups/idiocy/crazy/etc. of youth and adolescence don't matter so much.

From what I see of you on this site, your a very nice and likeable person and your only failure at making friends is that you don’t know your very high value because you take the criticism of others at face value. If you act like a pauper you will be treated like one, because people aren’t intelligent enough to know your secretly a Harvard professor or a saint. Your not a bad person, your shy because you don’t know how good you are.

It’s fine. You’ve done what you can to make amends and open the door to become reacquainted. The ball is in her court and (because we are in a low trust society, or she is not in a good place, or she is busy, or any number of reasons - try not to overthink it) she might choose to ignore you, but you can get some peace from knowing you have done your part.
