New mommies. How long did you stay home with baby before returning to work?

Stay at home mom here. I never even started working since I was still in high-school when I had my oldest but even with that I never went back to school just finished it online. I think it would be really sad to have to leave my babies to work

They are required by law to allow so much time. Some workplaces might extend this or may allow someone to extend it if needed. As well as sometimes before giving birth

My wife was a stay at home mom. We wanted to raise our kids, not some babysitter or daycare. It wasn't easy financially but we managed.
