Girls who have children: do you have a job outside of the home or are you a stay-at-home mom?

I can imagine how it would be difficult to stay at home with your children and forego a career, and I can also imagine how it would be difficult to continue in your career and not be there 24/7 for your children. But I'm a guy just conjecturing, while you are living the experience, so tell me: are you pursuing a career or staying at home with your kids, and are you happy with whatever decision you made on that subject?

I don't have any children, so I've never confronted that decision

I have children but they are grown and out of the home, so I have the freedom to do either now

I have one or more children, I stay at home with them, and I AM happy with what I am doing

I'm a stay at home mom to 4 kids and yes I'm happy but it can be extremely stressful. It is the most difficult job out there. I would have a easier and less stressful life if I worked but I sacrifice that type of lifestyle to be able to love and care for my babies everyday. Can't imagine having to send them to a daycare. It's definitely worth the sacrifice tho so yes I'm happy with it.

I'm changing my hours and I know I'll be a lot happier doing that, I do wish I had the resources to spend more time with lo when she was younger as I do feel like I've missed out. But now I'm changing my hours it's going to feel so different and it's going to be the happy middle ground.

I'm a mother of two and both my wife and I work remotely. We band together to take care of them when they aren't in school. Definitely happy getting to pursue my career in technology while still getting to be a mother that can be there for my kids that need me.

I don't have kids, but we are definitely going to homeschool and I'll be staying home with them.

@jskskkskz. I have encountered many kids who were home schooled, and I met their parents. The parents who assume this responsibility are very dedicated to this task, they find opportunities for their children to socialize with others, and the kids are very well educated and mature.
