Is it safe to drive with one of my tires partly bald?

All four tires are fine, but the inside of one of them is bald. Is it safe to drive, or should I find another means of transportation?

Not safe.

For once if your tires get used up this differently there is probably something wrong with the car. Tires are not attached correctly.

And if one tire is "bald" you will have problems once there is a tiny raindrop on the street and you have to break.

If the inside of a tire is bald, your wheels are out of alignment. That's bad... it can cause the car to pull one way or the other and you could easily lose control. Get a wheel alignment, and new tires... always best to replace them in pairs so that their treads are similar, otherwise, the car may try to pull towards the tire that better grips the road. If the bald tire is in the right front, for example, get new left and right front tires.

A blow out at speed is dangerous and requires a great deal of car control to overcome. Plus in the rain or snow even one bald tire will effect handling so yes you are talking more risk driving with even one poor tire.

Probably not. Get new tires as soon as you can. If it's a short distance tho you might be fine just no highway driving

That depends on how worn down it is. If you can see the steel belt it's dangerous. Wear on the inside of one tire only means your alignment is off or something in the suspension is worn out.

Well possibly, but it raises the question of WHY they wore like that. That will never happen if everything is right

Aside from the law, I would say it's probably safe to drive short distances, lightly loaded, and not in wet conditions.
