Do you think that maybe my cousin was toxic?

When I was 15-16 I would ask questions to my cousin like is that girl prettier than me? And she would say everytime that everything was better about them their face their body their everything there was one time though when she didn’t lol and her reaction was actually kind of funny. Now the times have changed my family has issues and now I have no cousins or anyone to keep me company just my boyfriend. When I would ask her these questions I think I was going through a body image problem or something I also had braces and was going through my awkward years I wasn’t feeling my best. One time she even told me that my body sucked and pretended not to say anything.

My dad has told me to stay away from her because she talked bad behind my back also me and her got into a really bad argument one time because she was body shaming me calling me fat, that I had a double chin, and that I had nothing to cover (no boobs) so 17 year old me cursed her out 🤣 she wanted to beat me up

I'm the same as you. But in reality I wouldn't ask anyone that maybe here on gag cause little things like that can get to a person, I think that's natural and its natural what your feeling towards your cousin right now but asking her those things just gives people the chance to beat you down and all etc etc. Just forget her and live your life and be thankful for all the things you have and what some other don't , and don't compare yourself to other people who have more weather its there good looks or money aswell.
