What should I have done in this situation? A girl on a bus was making me uncomfortable?

Number one there was empty seats. She sat next to me. Which I don’t really care. But what bothered me was how close she sat. She sat right next to me and kept touching me and sat so close she was touching me.

She kept talking to me and I kind of nodded along. I didn’t want to be rude and say something but I was clearly uncomfortable I kept moving away I was as far over as I could possibly get to the way. Then she had her leg touching mine.

I really didn’t know what to do in this situation. I don’t understand how she couldn’t tell I was uncomfortable. Yet she kept doing it.

Most of the the time if someone knows they’re making me uncomfortable they will stop.

Should I have said something?

You should have said something. You needn't be rude. Something like "I'm sorry, would you mind giving me a little more space."

I'm guessing she's attracted to you. Maybe the two of you ride the same route and she's seen you before. If she wasn't so aggressive, would you have been attracted to her?

Thanks. I think it happens to everyone. Sometimes I know we as people need to use our words. But it can be hard.

Because someone might get really angry if you tell them something unfortunately. I want people to tell me if and when I’m making them uncomfortable

There was a girl back in high school who I couldn’t stand. She was very obnoxious and let’s just say I wasn’t physically attracted.

She would make me so uncomfortable. That I had to be outright hateful sometimes because I tried being nice. I really did.

This girl she wasn’t bad looking nor did she seem bad or anything. I didn’t know her and she just kept getting under my skin.

I don’t know if next time I shouoe say something or not

Do you typically hint you’re annoyed or aggregated, then use your words and try to be nice, and then if needed out your foot down? How do you usually do it?

I would just stay away from her, like keep distant 10 meters apart so that she couldn't see me. if she saw me, smiles , then do my own thing. 😅

Yeah but saying she sat right by you. I didn’t wanna be rude. I guess I could have said excuse me. But at that point there was a lot of others on.

It’s hard to stay away when someone’s right there.

why don't you rest your back comfortably, cross your arms , and spread your legs more by push her legs to her place. then rest your head, close your eyes while give a bit smiles (shows that you still being nice). be silent for a moment. and then she would think you're tired , and need some rest 🤔🤔🤔
