Can someone feel that you're thinking about them?

My friend told me today about her experience with a friend. She said to me while she was shopping, something reminded them of her friend, and then a few hours later her friend called. She said to me they haven't been talking for a long time and we thought that maybe friend sensed my friend and called. Do you think a person can feel you're thinking about them?

I think not.

I think our minds are wired to find patterns. And sometimes we only see what we are looking for and miss the things disproving it.

I've had this exact thing happen to me many times actually. And it starts like this:

I have a friend who leans on me for his mental health every now and again. And sometimes I worry, but it's also draining to help so I am lazy with contact, he usually calls me when he needs to.
I think about reaching out but don't. Some time passes, I think like that again and again, sometimes several days in tow.

And then he calls.. and if I have been thinking about him recently I feel like it's a weird coincidence and I make a mental note if it being weird. It does happen he calls out of the blue but I never add those moments to the pattern, I just deal and move on.
But everytime it's a weird coincidence I think back to those other times.
Because I am biased to see it that way.

I think the same way about clocks, every time I check the time I make a mental note when I hit Xx.00 or Xx.59, thinking I am good at catching the time then and there more often than not. But there are plenty of times when it's not so. I just never remember it because it's trivial and don't fit any patterns.

This type of bias shows up more and more the more you learn to see through the human patterns. It's a pattern of it's own.

Can you quantify this either qualitatively or in any physical way? Isn't the biggest suggested "proof" dreaming a bout another. This does not mean there is some empath connecting telepathically while sleeping. And ghosts that one feels but can not prove in any way. How about the sudden urge means the dead or far removed feelings have found me and now rest in my heart or soul.

And of course, the need to have sex with them in a dream as myDick channeled their scoot-scoot and that explains the wet dream... I say a definite NO !!!

I will say definitely yes! This and other mental telepathy type things have happened to me throughout my life.

It's like a feeling and a message you can hear about them. Like just a thought about them.

Two days ago I was thinking about my nephew and wondering how he is doing since I didn't hear from him during Thanksgiving. He is at a facility where I cannot call him. Cutting to the chase, he called me yesterday and said he had been thinking about me. I hadn't heard from him in a while.

One time I had really strong feelings about a friend of mine that I hadn't spoken to in years (I had a baby, and she can't bare children, so our relationship kinda ended). This feeling like someone connected with her had died. I swallowed my nerve and called her. I told her what I was feeling and thinking about. She replied "Well, my father just died suddenly three days ago". We talked for a few minutes, but that was it.
These feelings I get about a person are so persistent that I just have to call and check on them just so I can relax. It's a trip.

Yes, I have felt that about others, and then I call them and they say, I was just about to call you (or text you.) Now they could be B. S'ing about it, but these people are not known to lie to me.

I've also been worried about people and they are non responsive and go check on them and find they are unconscious and super sick or something else.

I also felt when my grandma passed, I knew... and called my mom and asked she said she just barely got the call, hasn't had a chance to call anyone else.

People think this is crazy right. But what makes me think that this thing you’re saying might be real is because there are so many miracles happening around us every day. The sunrise, the sunset, accidents and just being healthy right now after a long day are all miracles. I feel like there’s an energy that goes beyond what our human minds can grasp.


Now to answer your question a little more specifically…I don’t know. But I have had experiences where I’ve thought of someone and I see them or they text/call me straight away.


I’ve also had experiences where I’ve moved on from an ex completely and life is good. And suddenly I get this sinking feeling and my heart stops beating. And my mind is flooded with thoughts of them. And I think this is a moment where they’ve manifested me. It sounds bizarre but the feeling is very overwhelming.

I don't know if that's true or not but I've experienced some weird stuff like that. A few days ago I was thinking about a friend that I feel i have a strong connection with. I was laying in bed thinking about him and thought to myself "is he okay?" And I felt an urge to text him. Then literally 30 seconds later he texted me. I felt like a magician lol..

Im not a deeply spiritual person, but i do believe there's something beyond our mere carnal and mortal beings which connects us together. I do feel when someone thinks of me and i believe they can feel the same. Its random and doesn't coincide with any particular date or event. I notice its also limited to very certain people.

I have heard this said and I'm inclined to think that's true, yeah. I've experienced similar situations like that, but the craziest were when I would wake up in the morning thinking about someone I hadn't seen in ages, random old acquaintances or co-workers, and I would literally run into them later on that same day. I think that yes, it is pretty much possible. I often get my phone in my hand and stare at it and after one minute my boyfriend calls me. Without me and him even talking about him calling me. He just does it himself. I feel him. I feel my friends. I feel when my mom comes back home even though I don't know when she will arrive. And many more. I think ~YES~ it is very much possible

Yes, I've experienced something similar. I'll think about someone I haven't spoken to in ages, and then that person randomly texts me with the exact thoughts I was just having about them. Or, I'll be thinking I want my boyfriend and I to go and eat out at a certain restaurant, then out of the blue, he will suggest that exact restaurant. It's freaky.

Even strangers... That happens to me all the time. Usually I don’t call my friends. During the pandemic I only spoke to my best friend twice and a whole year passed.
