Do you ever feel the person you love is thinking of you?

I wanted to say if you haven’t seen someone in a long time for years but when your alone or out or even around other people do you feel their presence as if they are trying to connect with you mentally and physically and on certain days the thought of them and feelings of intense love for them becomes very strong has anyone ever felt this type of love?

I had a long distance relationship for 3 years. It was just the opposite of what you ask. I knew that she probably did not think of me at all. sometimes I would wonder if I were to disappear from the face of the earth she would probably not even notice.

Thank you that’s exactly how I felt like the person I liked he started dating someone else then like couple of weeks to months on and off later the intense feeling came back and then I found out he broke up with his girlfriend and since then no matter if I’m having fun or at work focusing an intense strong feeling takes over me to do with him.

Honestly I’ve asked my self continuously I’m still for some reason I’m some loophole since the day I developed feelings I’ve now been interested in other people but those other crushes die out and my feelings are always alive for this person no matter how much I avoid thinking about him it’s not going away.

I have felt this feeling. I once had a dream about someone for a couple of days and I thought I should call them and it did turn out they were in troubling times.

I don't think a person should feel any hesitation to call them if you miss them so much

The feelings haven't stopped.

I believe that person felt the same but ours was not one that we were able to share/realize.

As for dealing with it -- you trudge forward each day. Make coffee and keep living. Holding your shattered heart together.
