Was she the best? Probably not, but despite experiencing a ton of shit in life she managed to raise me to be a vociferous young woman. She never spent much time with me because she was always working. Even now, we only spend a little more time together only because she has some health issues. If not, work consumes much of her time. We don't get along very well due to our differences, but I know that she wants only the best for me. I'm not going to sit around and point fingers at her or anyone else since
1. I'm not a parent
2. I've never been a parent
3. Parenting is hard AF and I'm not exactly in a place to judge her parenting since I know for a fact that I'd make a shit parent.
... I turned out just fine either way. She would give me small "life tips" every now and then and even though it hasn't been of any help until now, it probably might be in the future. I just wish she controlled her anger and did not lash out as much, but I appreciate and love her.
we spend a little more time together (as compared to before) only because*
My mom was a fantastic mom. She was a little extremely rigid about a few things. We clashed a lot in my teenage years and my early 20s. I miss her terribly. All my thoughts are fond, though my sister and I talk about how rigid quirks she had in certain ways, and it’s funny now.
Damn sounds as though a lot of kids grew up w a shitty mom. My mom was awesome. She taught me a lot of things. I don’t think it would have been that way though had my stepfather not been there all our lives. They’ve been together almost 35 years. I’m glad I had both, not just one. Supposedly kids do better in single family households if they’re raised by their fathers. Assuming that’s their situation. Not all, but a lot.
No, there are a few things that I point out she could've done better, but she did the best that she could, and taught me great morals.. I'm slowly coming into my own..

Nope, she was a shit parent. Hell @bigpauly would be a better mom, and he's not even female or an adult yet.
A good parent would be either @DarkCarousel or @PrettyPriya or @Ez-Bri-Z_v2
Lol @bigpauly. Hahahahaha this made my day.
I do think I will be a good mom though. It is something I have wanted for the longest time... to be a mother.
Aww! That made me teary... and smile. ❤️
Aww, thank you! I do my best with my two and probably spoil them too much if I'm being honest lol
lmfao… thank you😭❤️
❤️ If there’s one aspect of my life where I feel like I’m doing my absolute best, it’s being a mom.
My mom definitely made her mistakes as a parent, but she's the woman that carried me for 9 months and gave me life almost dying do so.
I wouldn't desire no other woman to be my mom and birth me except my mom.
To me she's the best for me and to me that's enough.
she was the best she could ever be, did the best she could and gave it her all to raise me, protect me and give options in life… I think that’s as close to “best” as you can get…
i dont know
i feel sometimes like she doesn't want me in the family
and i feel very second to my brother
my dad doesn't make me feel like that but he's also kinda horrible and shouts a lot
so i have no clue
No, my mother was a useless parent. She kicked me out of the house when I was 12 because, to use her own words, "I was too much work." I spent the rest of my teen years living with cousins.
Don't most kids? Maybe if they had really scummy women as their mom they might think twice. With all these women killing their children lately, maybe your mom was not that bad after all?
I love my mom and I think she did a pretty good job raising me. There are things she did/didn’t do that I would do differently with my own kids but she did the best she could
No she wasn't but I know that she tried her best and our situation was difficult back then... at least she is doing better with my little sister 🙏🏼
No, I don't think she was, but I'll give her credit for trying. Lol
No, she's way far from being the best. I can't even call her parent.
No. I have no positive emotions for either parent; the dad I never really knew, or my bitch mother, who I wished died a long time ago, but still kicking at 60-something.
Yes I think my mom has always been the best mom ever!
I really do. My mom is one of the best persons I've ever met in my life.
Yes, my late Mom was the Best.
In short she was not the best parent to me.
They both had their roles and successfully raised three blood children and one adoptee. Beyond that, the question is moot.
Hell no, I hate them both. I hope they both die so I can collect the insurance money and finally get the money I deserve
My mom was a kind woman but a horrible mother
My mother, may she rest in peace, was the world's WORST mother.
