Why my friend doing this to me?

I had a friend with whom I was very close and who knew me very well. The bond between us was very strong. After a long time, I had feelings for her and told her so. She refused, but we continued our friendship. After a year, she started ghosting me out of nowhere. I tried to make things right, but I couldn’t make her listen to me, and after a month I gave up because trying to solve it by myself started to be a burden on me. After I gave up, for 2 months I couldn’t hear from her, and suddenly she texted me that we needed to talk and solve problems. We talked and solved our friendship, but after a month this week, she told me that she decided to move on in her life without me and started ghosting again.

She confuses me, everybody has a separate idea about her and I dont know who to trust anymore. She refuses to talk with me and doesn't want me in her life, but the reason we are not talking anymore is a misunderstanding and can be resolved very easily but I can't talk to her. Now, both of our friends intervened a lot and she doesn't listen to me anymore. I want to make up with her but her new friends are impressing her and I don't know what to do and I don’t know why she is doing this to me.

Man, I know it hurts or is a disappointment.

It seems like this friend turned out not to be much of a friend. It seems as you became closer like friends do that she was pulling away. It is not like you can make her do things that she does not want to do. They are better friends to make out there than try to salvage this one.

I think she is looking for a high standard friendship. For what I read, You did nothing wrong.
She just friend with you because she has no choice.
After she find her circle, she wants to leave you.
But, it's not 100% true.
My advice : Leave her. There are millions people in this world you can friend with.

If I had to guess, Id say she wanted some form of closure with you.
