two parent households do better because these households tend to be richer. Two working parents tend to have more resources to raise children than 1 working parent. They tend to live in better neighborhoods, less crime. It has nothing to do with having 2 parents. It has everything to do with having more money.

Studies show that children born to lesbian and gay parents tend to do better in school than kids born to heterosexual couples. why? these lesbian and gay couples who can afford advanced reproductive technology to have children tend to be richer than heterosexual couples.

I would definitely say yes! It's better with the mother and the father than only one parent at a time. My brother is a single father and i already see the effect on my 5 year old nephew.

I personally dont see much of a difference. I think its about how much time and attention the parent can give to the child and how well their parenting skills can be. One person could fulfill what two may not and vice versa

Well, I and my sister had two parents and I guess we turned out okay. However, some of my cousins and friends of mine were raised by one parent and they turned out okay as well.
