They initially thought I was and placed in special learning classes. But then in high-school I placed into advanced placement classes, which shocked "the smart kids". Cherry on top, I finished a year of AP classes in three months and graduated early.

Yes. At home, I was the non-compliant, youngest, fiery, unshakable, and unstoppable child.
At school, I was the teacher's pet all except for the one year when I slid into 2nd place behind a dunce named Tammy.

  @PeterLegg91 Those people were using the word as a form of abuse, to abuse your sister, but originally it wasn't like that, the word originally was neutral (like handicapped, and disabled), and that's how I still see it.
