Guys, if your wife/girlfriend was pregnant would you go crazy?

Yes. I’ll be honest and say because I’ve never been a father I’ll make some of those mistakes; but it will be because I love my wife and child and want to step up and do what I can for them. Ideally I’d like to plan ahead and work with her to prepare but I also think when the moment comes I’ll be relied on to lead and am sure I’ll make a decision or 10 that she will get to tease me about later. Bottom line if the results of my blunders are a happy and healthy family (wide and child) then I’ll take it on.

I LOVE this question! :) We've had four kids and, yes, I had "Go" bags packed within a few weeks of confirming each pregnancy. But, no, didn't go crazy. Not even with some of the early labor times.

As for passing out in the delivery room, I didn't do that either. Well, not for the first one. In his case, after 27 hours of labor, the doctors decided to do a C-section. I do, however, pass out during cutting and operations and blood and all that. So, our chaplain's wife actually was in the delivery room with my wife when my son was delivered or I would have passed out.

My parents were doctors, I had spent a significant time roaming around hospitals from a very early age. I am seeing blood, bacteria, fetus, microbes, dissection, labor, and maternity words from an age when others lick lollypops.

Although I am not directly involved in those fields anymore I do some fostering, and have seen many cats, and dogs giving birth. One mama cat just gave birth in front of me 7 days ago.

So those things don't surprise me.

Well, since my wife had a total hysterectomy in 1980, Yes I would be beyond myself if she were to become pregnant.

Well considering that I plan on getting a vasectomy soon and I'm gonna be sterile by time of my potential marriage, I'm gonna be hella suspicious if my wife became pregnant 🤨

As I am sterile I would be less than happy.
