Do you think my dad was wrong for telling everything?

My sister (lori) was opening up to my dad about my other sister (kat). My dad went back and told Kat everything Lori said to him. Including that Kat is a bad mother. Now both of my sister's are not talking to each. I'm really mad at my dad. Why would he put sister's against each other?

How old is your Dad... has he always been volatile and stirring things up around the house? Would you characterize him as emotionally needing and craving attention or approval. If so, then one can not tell one like this anything in private. He wants emotionalism... reaction... attention etc. Chalk it up to live and learn BUT never engage anyone, including your other sisters, who have such a genetic propensity.

Family does not mean loyalty... Sorry this happened to you and hope it settles out for everyone.

No he shouldn't have said anything. He just lost your sister's trust. Once you lose that you never completely get it back.
