I just got off of work and my mom texted me "do you want to come see your grandma?" Just for context my grandmother is dying. She's coughing up large amounts of blood every other day and has cancer.
I said yes so my parents had to pick me up to take me since I can't drive and my dad said "it probably cost me like 8 bucks worth of gas to come pick you up, I just want you to know that"
He already makes me feel like shit about everything, and now wanting to see my sick grandmother when I didn't even ask first too?

Sorry about your grandma that is so sad but your dad telling you it will cost $8.00 in gas money is horrible to tell a daughter especially when a grandma is dying. Just like my uncle telling me that his dad was going to cause his wife to divorce him cause he had to take his mother to the emergency room cause she has dementia and needs ER attention

It was definitely not the time, that's wrong on his part, I got my permit at 15, it's almost 6 years of experience and I'm not even a full adult yet, it's much more intimidating then what it is, you get comfortable when you get the hang of it, if I can do it, I know you can, facing your fears is the way to defeat your fears, ask anyone you want if they can teach you in a park or something, that's where I learned, at a local park in the parking lot, you'll see it's not that bad, thinking of driving was worse than actually driving ha

Pedestrians always got the right of way when there's a crosswalk or a parking lot and at stop signs, whoever gets to the sign first, has the right of way (cars only), you'll be fine, most signs are pretty self explanatory, they aren't hard to learn either.

In the US as long as you stick to the right and the speed limit, you'll be fine, and if the crash is someone else's fault, that's what they got insurance for, some countries it's the left lane but it's all pretty similar
