If a baby is walking and running before age 1, are they also toddlers?

My father and other relatives told me I was a very early starter.

- At 6 months old, I wouldn't crawl too much and went through to sitting up, rolling over and try several attempts to stand.

- Then age 7 months old, I was standing while holding on to something and taking slow steps.

- At 8-9 months old I was already walking and running.

A baby is from birth to age one and a toddler by definition is a small infant that walks and toddles. However, if I was already doing that at 8-9 months old, was I also a toddler?
