Is it ok to hand out Easter eggs or inappropriate?

Well I am not religious, I am not part of any churches. Don't go to churches without it being invited to something. Did not get baptized or confirmation in a church. My future kids and wife we will not get married in a church or the kids won't get baptized in one. But we still celebrate Easter and Christmas. We still enjoy stuff like that, we don't connect religion to it what so ever. And i know many people that still enjoy stuff like this as long as they keep the religion parts of it out. I also have several muslim Friends, they say they don't celebrate these things, but still enjoy then energy and the decorations of it they enjoy it in a third party way.

I was thinking maybe it’s a friendly thing but maybe it comes across as trying too hard.

Maybe candy Easter eggs from Walmart or some place like that? All in one Easter basket for all to have?

If you're bringing a package of candy I don't see how that could be misinterpreted especially if it's relevant to the current holiday season.
