I suffer from depression.. I'm at work now and inside I'm falling apart. I pretend I'm using the restroom because I want to cry all the time.
The people I work with are toxic, so I can't confide in them.
Just don't know how to cope right now 😕

I think you are probably in need of immediate medical attention. Your depression may be 100% related to your actual situation, but nevertheless, there are medications which can make you feel better and lift your dark, hopeless mood while you have therapy to help you overcome this depression. Or maybe medication will be enough. Some depressions are merely a chemical imbalance in the brain In either way, get yourself into treatment ASAP! Why should you suffer with this?
Thak you
. I have been to my doctors and she was very dismissive towards me. I left feeling ashamed for going
It's affecting every aspect of my life now. I can't sleep eat or go anywhere except to work.
There are more than one doctor in the world! If you are unhappy with your doctor, then leave her and consul another one. A doctor's job is to try to heal you, not to judge you!!
That's true. Thank you
Welcome to the workforce and how most people feel. Kind of awkward that we design and maintain a society most of us dislike.
As for dealing with it? The penultimate answer is probably that you should not have to and to find something else where you will not feel that way. Rather than adapting to bad circumstances, find new and better ones.
Some psychiatry of course does not hurt. Who abive 20 and below 60 does not secretly, or openly, need that?
Thank you
I go through the same thing - coffee is my support at work. I also focus all on my work to distract it’s hard but works. If you are not happy with your job to take time find one that you would enjoy don’t rush. Also look into support after work like councillors. Please take care.
Thank you

Depression is tough and requires counseling and medication. It's not something you can "get over". The best advice for now is to do opposite action. Basically force yourself to do the opposite of what you're feeling until you can get some therapy and meds. Take some stress off yourself by only doing what you absolutely have to and not taking on additional responsibilities.
Thank you
Have you talked to a doctor? And perhaps you should start looking for a new job.
Thank you. I've tried talking to my doctor but she's not very good. I am in the process of looking for another job.
Your welcome and good luck to you.
