Why are people cast out of families like that?
People may be considered the "black sheep" of a family for a variety of reasons, such as having different beliefs, values, or lifestyle choices than other family members, or having a history of behavior that is perceived as negative or disruptive.
Family dynamics can be complex and multifaceted, and it is not uncommon for family members to have different perspectives and experiences. In some cases, individuals may be cast out of a family due to conflicts or disagreements that cannot be resolved or due to a lack of acceptance or understanding of their choices or beliefs.
It is important to remember that everyone has the right to make their own choices and to live their lives in a way that aligns with their personal values and goals, even if it differs from the expectations or beliefs of their family members. It can be difficult to navigate family conflicts and disagreements, but it is important to prioritize open communication, mutual respect, and empathy in all of your relationships.
Remember, you have the power to create your own narrative and make choices that align with your personal values and goals, even if it means that you may not always be accepted or understood by your family members. It may be helpful to seek out support and resources to help you navigate these challenges and to find a path forward that honors your well-being and growth.

Some I’ve heard of being outcast for dating / marrying or just being in relationship with someone that the family disapproves of. Others over simply political differences. There are almost as many examples as there are families. In the end, we loose sight of the fact that family should be one our most important values.

Black sheep doesn't mean they are cast out. It just means they go their own way instead of blindly following preconceived ideas.

They aren't just cast out. Plenty leave. My dad stopped contact between his siblings, and parents so I wouldn't be exposed to their drug use and alcoholism.
