What do you think of my husband's opinion about breastfeeding?

I told my husband the other day that I would invite my boyfriends and girlfriends to my house. I told her that since I have a baby, I should breastfeed in front of them. I asked if there was a problem. He said it's none of your business who you breastfeed in front of me. Am I so lucky?

Nothing wrong with breastfeeding anywhere. It's not like you have to be completely open, there are blankets you can use to cover things up. No big deal.

if you're at home, shouldn't you go to a separate room to be doing that? or do you just want to make people uncomfortable? like i get it being out in public, you gotta do what you gotta do, but you have the opportunity at home to make your guests more comfortable...

You're not lucky, you have an educated husband. I felt the same way when my then-wife breastfed, she just kept a loose cloth over her so her breast was not exposed.
