Is hunting when they have young cruel?

Is hunting animals when they are breeding or have babies cruel? If you kill the parents and the babies will starve to death?

Nowhere near as cruel as letting their populations explode so they ALL starve to death. Besides, every area that regulates hunting has restrictions on numbers and seasons; even boars in Texas, so dangerous that it's perfectly legal to hunt them with a helicopter-mounted minigun, have limits in place.

It's not just "grab a gun, head out into the woods, and plug the first deer you see".

Yes. I do. I also think killing the babies is wrong as well. If you wouldn't want your newborn dying, why kill an animals?
