Parents are you open or cool with teaching or explaining sex-ed to your sons and daughters?

we are very open. I ask them and they ask me. I always let them know if they have any questions.. feel free to ask.
As a mom…I discussed based on age appropriateness…as teens…they seemed a little uncomfortable…but when I shared…they really appreciated that I didn’t make it embarrassing.
I am the type who rather be the one who shares with them then them learning by others.. sure they will…still they will have some background from home.

My mom just told me don't have sex... because if you come home pregnant I will kill you... Plus we were taught sex ed at school... so you don't really need to know much... I never had sex til I was in my 20's anyways...

I am comfortable talking with my kids about sex. They always knew that they could ask us anything without hesitation. We talked about anything and everything regarding sex

I think I'd rather do it and make SURE they know than to have a teacher in school do it and leave them wondering because they didn't get all the info they needed.

My parents never spoke to me about sex. My dad had this mindset if they don't talk about it's like as if it doesn't even exist. I guess it's because of the way he was raised. I had to learn everything about sex by myself from a very young age.
