He will phone me during work but when it comes to my brother my dad will say “leave your brother he is busy” but when it comes to me I’m expected to drop everything what I’m doing

Not knowing what kind of relationship/bond you have with your dad, I am going to give him the benefit of the doubt and say, he's likely just protective of you. Dad's worry about their daughters more than they worry about their sons. He may just be checking in on you because he cares.
That being said, you definitely need to talk to him about it. Make it clear, he needs to treat you the same way and give you the latitude he gives your brother. Just let him know he taught you well and your good on your own. A little reassurance (positive reinforcement) goes a long way than complaining about it to him.\
He'll get the point.
I don't know why but this feels like misogyny to me
