we order food and my friends drink didn’t come.. she told me not to do the refund bc then they won’t reorder it. i told her the app was only giving me 2 options and neither were for a reorder. she told me to call and i told them i wasn’t going to call them. she didn’t answer me.. she heard but didn’t answer. so i did the refund. she comes in 15 mins later saying she wants to call them for the reorder and i told her i already got the refund. she’s mad at me bc i did the refund even though she said not to but i think it’s her fault bc instead of not answering me she should’ve been like “ i’ll call when i’m done”. but she saying i should’ve said “ i’m going to do the refund” instead of just doing it.

if "didn't come" means delivery i feel best to choose refund instead of resending. it can't be in restaurant if talked about calling, so refunder was correct. if she wants to reorder then she must phoning not the refunder. worse her telling you to call is "too bossy" she should call and give her app or payment info.

Sounds like typical female drama.. You (specifically your friend) can never say what you mean or what you want.

Its part of why, when i ask my wife what she wants i give her 10 seconds to answer.. or i pick for her. She learned very fast to make quick decisions. I refuse to waste peoples time due to indecisiveness.

Neither of you. There is no right or wrong here.

That said, if it was her money/order you should have just left it until she told you what to do (respect its entirely her choice).

However, if you where doing her a favour ordering on your phone on her behalf using your own card/money (aka she'd not paid you yet) then its your right and call to decide how to handle the order (though a good friend would have facilitated her as much as possible; Also you should have said before you chose one of the options and given your reasoning and also showed as much respecct for her opinion as you could).

If she was sharing your phone but using her payment method, then again you should have respectfully said "well you decide which option, but anything else you will need to sort out yourself".
