Why would you have two children with the same name? If you want to talk to Bob and call Bob, but the other Bob answers, how would you handle that. When you name one Bob, give the other one his own name. As for the III, that is for the next Generation. If John Jacob Jingleheimer Schmidt. Had a son by the same name, the father would be John Jacob Jingleheimer Schmidt Senior and the son would be John Jacob Jingleheimer Schmidt Junior. If Junior had a son, he would be John Jacob Jingleheimer Schmidt III.
There's one exception. My great-grandfather was John William Wallis, my grandfather was John William Wallis Sr., and my dad is John William Wallis Jr. If I was named after him, I would be John William Wallis IV, despite the fact that my dad is a Jr.
If your great grandfather was John William Wallis, as soon as he named his son John William Wallis, your great grandfather became Senior and your grandfather was Junior. They screwed up naming your grandfather Senior because he was junior to your great grandfather.
Well, that was his legal name. That's who the US Navy hired.
who names their children with the same one name... lol
There's a joke where a person has many kids named the same. They say it's easier to call them all to dinner. Someone asked them what happens if they want one and they said, "Then I use their last name".
