Is it ok for my mom to be jealous that I have a good relationship with my father?

ever since i hit puberty in high school, my mom began bullying me. I noticed that every time she sees me laughing with my father in a conversation, she would say remind my father to say something mean. Then our happy conversation would automatically turn sour with my father criticizing me for the way i dress. My mom would hate on me every time she gets. she's jealous of the fact that I am not only better looking than her, but also more educated and have higher earning potential. Ever since I was 18, I never had much of a relationship with my father. My father would avoid walking next to me on the street. Whenever we would run errands together, he would sprint far ahead of me so I wouldn't be able to catch up. Its like he knows my mom is jealous and worries that her husband will like me more than her. I feel being my dad's favorite to being completely emotionally abandoned by him.

My ex-wife has bullied my daughter into not talking to me or seeing me. So please hang on to your father. Fathers are not perfect we make mistakes, but we are human beings, and we love you more than you know.

Wow, that's just abusive. Where are you living? If you are living with either of your parents, can you get your own place? Is there someone you could live with? Could you afford to split an apartment with someone?

I've been living this way for the past 10 years.

I'm finally moving out at the age of 28 after settling into a stable career / income.

I suffered so much trauma though the years. Now I struggle with trusting other people especially in romantic relationships because my parents betrayed me so badly. My parents weren't the only ones who hurt me. Many other people have hurt me also. I'm really resilient and strong. I'm still standing strong. But I don't think I ever want to have a romantic relationship ever in my life. So far i have spent my entire life seeing my own happiness be at the hands of other people (my parents). For the first time, I want to be in control over my own happiness (not my boyfriend, partner , husband)

It is driven by jealousy and insecurity. Consider getting counseling to unpack all this. "But I don't think I ever want to have a romantic relationship ever in my life. " People do have happy romantic relationships.

There are a lot people out there who are only partnered because they've settle for someone flawed. I have high standards for my man. I can't stand major flaws. Most people have some type of major flaw. I also find that most young modern men lack personality. Hence, I've stopped dating. I really don't feel like I'm missing out.

Steady happiness comes from within by yourself on your own. Unstable happiness is when you base your life's happiness on someone else.

I'm abandoning my parents. Never seeing them again. Certain things are so ingrained / rooted into them that they will never ever change.
