Why is my dad jealous of me all the time?

We have a good relationship but there’s one thing that bothers me: he’s always jealous.. of my achievements, success, attention from my mom, when my mother gives me something (food for example) he always complains about how he wants to have te same like a child even when he’s not hungry. And im like here take it i don’t care..

Its not a huge problem in my eyes but it still bothers me, because i dont understand how a loving dad can possibly be jealous of his son. And most importantly, i want to know the reason for his jealousy. So my question is: why would a parent be jealous of his son constantly?
