Who are you more like? Your mom or dad?

For me, I’m a combination of both parents.

I'm not sure. I think my dad. I think you can see a bit of both reflected in me. I've got my dad's sense of humor. And my mother's compassion I think. I like to think I have my dad's sense of justice. I'm told my father was a bit of a hellraiser when he was young. He was a police officer for 33 years. And since I'm the youngest child I guess he'd mellowed considerably by the time I came along. Because my father was the oldest living boy scout, he had a strong sense of right and wrong. But you knew better than to cross him. He had a very intimidating presence, both from his stature (6'4") but also his booming voice. All my friends were scared of him growing up. But he was a teddy bear. If I'm 1/10th what my father was I'm a success.

Dad passed 53 years ago, Mom, a few months ago.

I'm probably like Dad in my love of music and science.

Mom? Well, Mom kept me alive through some real shit times.
