Ladies, do you feel lied to about pregnancy by grown ups?

I feel like parents don’t tell others about the shit they went through out of some secret society code. What they say it’s like:

What’s it’s really like…look at all the vital organs shoved out of the way…

And then after…

Yes they lie or withhold info to get grand-babies

I don't think it's so much lying but it's that they don't wanna talk about their trauma like I have pregnancy/birth trauma and ptsd that is extremely difficult for me to discuss with others so unless someone specifically asks I wouldn't just randomly bring it up to scare others since their experience might be different than mine

I think people minimize how difficult it is to have and raise children - until you have some yourself and are part of the "club" and then they tell you. Some parents are happy but there are also a lot of really regret having had kids (even if they love the kids they have)
