They used to come over and visit a lot, but my nana's dementia has gotten worse, and now my papa has trouble taking care of himself and they will probably move in to assisted living soon. I hate the idea of someone else living in their house. It's been theirs since it was first built like 35 years ago. :( It makes me sad, and realize how much time has passed.

I feel the same when I see my mother. It's hard as hell to see her not be able to do anything for herself anymore. Just cherish these moments you have know with them even thow its hard because someday you'll miss them as well.
How old is she that she can't? Well, it's just so sad :(
77. she's had a myriad of health issues over the last thirty years. Her minds still sharp but her body has failed her.
I remember walking around in my grandparents home after the last person died to bid farewell. It’s a sad feeling.
What's the question? Yes, that's a bit sad -- we hate to see loved ones decline in that way.
