What Are The Most Preferred Father’s Day Gifts?

I want to give my father-in-law a nice gift for this Father's Day in return for a huge favor he did for us but since I don't know him very well, I think it would be a better idea to give him one of the most common gifts. What do you think are the most preferred Father's Day gifts that even someone you don't know very well would like?

My cousin gave me a gift basket for my birthday along with 8 meals and I loved it. The thing is, order food that has a late expiration date, so you can get it delivered early and eaten Father’s Day, cause rush requests usually cost more money, if you seek immediate delivery the day or week of. They may also be out of stock if you postpone your order and you should also interview your husband to learn his dietary rules, like can he eat chocolate? Is he on cholesterol medication? Does he drink wine? Is he diabetic? Does he have nut allergies? Is he lactose intolerant? Etc..

On a serious note, you've got to be very perceptive. If you've known him for even a month, parent in laws always verbalise their desires without even meaning to. Get him something that will make his life a little more delightful.

He's your father in law and you don't know him that well? Your husband should know him.

I guess the easiest thing would be to get him a gift card. It could be to a restaurant, sporting goods store, hardware store or just a prepaid credit card that he could use anywhere

My kids got me a $75 wagyu steak last year that I cooked up for myself. They've also gotten me a nice bottle of bourbon in the past and one year they took me on a brewery tour and we all got a little tipsy.
