What should I do about this?

My boyfriend and I have been together for almost 4 years. On Sunday he said something that was shocking to me and that I would never say back. I just finished my first year of my master and I haven't gotten an internship here in the states, (we both live in NY) but since he is from Mexico and has a remote job he spends a lot of time there. He is currently there and I told him " Hey before I go back to Europe and probably will spend the summer there, I could come to Mexico to visit you for a week" and then you can come to Europe when I know what internship I will have there and where. He responded with "Yeah you can come, if you want" and then I knew something was off and I had a call with him and I asked him well do you really want me to come cause I feel like you don't and he answered "Honestly, I want my space there and when you come you ruin my gym routine and work, and its annoying when we go out with my friends cause they have to speak English" to you" I was like what? No one needs to do anything for me, I literally just want to see you cause I don't know when it will be the next time. We hang up and he says "Sorry, sometimes I am not nice". I told him that he hurt me and he was like sorry but not much more than that. He then just texts me normally as if nothing happened and I am barely answering as I am so angry with him and i've been crying because I feel that this is not okay. What should I do or tell him? Sad thing is, since I returned home to Europe, I don't feel like seeing him as it hurt me so much. Is this normal?

simply put, leave him. you don't deserve to be treated like that by someone who is supposed to love you, especially after 4 years. that's a long time. his attitude is completely uncalled for as you did nothing but wanting to see your boyfriend. what does he expect? dude is ridiculous. sounds like he wants to be single and hang out with his friends all day. just an awful partner.

In my eyes if my potential boyfriend did that to me i'd think he wanted to break up. But I think its better to get the opinion from men

I'd break up. He obviously doesn't enjoy your company as a boyfriend should.
