My parents both passed, mom 20 years ago and dad 10. But before that they were not together. They divorced when I was 11 and it was vitriolic and angry and a shitty mess and mom used me as a pawn in the divorce and dad's second wife was a witch of a stepmother.

My parents are 55 years happily married with 3 sons and 2 daughters me being the baby of the bunch. They are both still very healthy and love having all of us and our broods at their home for holidays etc.
