Do you get along with your parents if they still alive?

I don't my parents tried to weaponize me against one and other.

I get along with my mother just fine. We see each other on a semi-regular basis, and talk every few days.

My father, on the other hand... I haven't spoken to him in years, and I wouldn't spit on him, if he was on fire. As far as I know, he could be dead by now, and it wouldn't bother me one bit, if he was.

When my parents were alive they were was there for me, but no real closeness existed. I guess it was due to the family blaming each other and themselves because I was the victim in a horrible freak accident at home. Nothing was ever the same afterwards, no get together I was treated as not real, mainly because I was supposed to be dead

I get a long with both of mine fine sometimes they get on my nerves about stuff but that's life

I get along with my mother. We are really close but my father not so much.
