What would you do if your son or daughter came out as a non binary?

Talk with them and trying to understand how they come to the conclusion. Oftentimes what I heard is that people that come out as non binary do so because they don´t want to be viewed in gender roles or stereotypes that are connected to the gender.

Like for example girls are supposed to be quiet or boys are supposed to be play with toys that include an engine. I once heard of a case in my neighbour were a girl wasn´t allowed to skateboard by her parents since that´s a boy´s thing to do.
There are quiet a lot like girls are supposed to help with the meals while boys should talk about politics with the men...
