I’m 22 and have a 28 y/o brother and a 30y/o sister. I really struggle to be around them, I’m awkward, and have nothing to say to them. Anyone else?

not sure why you should feel that way. were they not around you while growing up? no frequent family get-togethers? divorced parents? do you guys literally have nothing in common? nothing you could say that happened during your day that was interesting? any tv shows you watch? there's tons of things you can say to them... so that you guys can learn who you are as a person. the awkward thing is a whole other issue that goes back to my first point of maybe not growing up with them. but i don't know your life.

me and my brother aren't that close, but we do find stuff we can talk about when out. doesn't mean we have to have the same interests, just be like "hey i watched this" "oh really? i've heard about that" etc etc...

Find something you can all do together that requires a lot of involvement like restoring a car or something (just an example). When you are relying on each other the talking will come easy.

Why do you feel you are awkward? Do they try and engage in any conversations with you?
