Do you have parents that got remarried? How did it make you feel?

My father re-married and as we were never close when I was a child it wasn't that big of deal except she was very mean to my family. (came into our home and yelled at my mom, mostly ignored me and my brother)

My mother has been married 8 times now, my father was the first I didn't get along with most of my stepfathers, but I only really was raised by two. The first one was abusive and the second one was more or less my father, I have some fond memories of him (he passed when I was mid 20's they married when I was 16 or so) and some not so fond ones. All in all he really tried, and in the end we were friends. The others I was already an adult so we didn't really interact, and my criteria is just does he make my mom happy? My mother is/was an actress/opera singer so all of the things that come with a stage life...

My mom never remarried. She wanted to but... well, it was ugly.

My dad remarried. The fact that he remarried didn't bother me. In fact, I was happy that he was happy. The problem was that she was a very not nice woman. Very mean. So, I don't like her but wasn't bothered by his getting married again.

They constantly joke about it. I don’t want that. I was never the kid who wanted to see my parents together. Heck i didn't want my mom with anyone until i went off to college lmao. My dads mad annoying, nah he can stay where he's at

My parents got divorced when I was in high school.. My father married somebody who was 3 years older than my brother and me. It was embarrassing to me. When he started a second family my brother and I sort of became his ex-kids.

Yes, my dad is remarried. It was an adjustment that took some time. 🙂
